Burglar-resistant doors

Burglar resistance in accordance with WK II and WK III (EN 1627)

Burglar-resistant Merford doors are available which comply with WK II and WK III. A unique feature in the Netherlands is that the doors are also available with an anti-panic lock. In this way, Merford offers a solution for locations where no concessions can be made as regards safety (such as theatres, cinemas, discotheques and government buildings).

No additional locks are needed (which have to be opened/closed on a daily basis). Neither are any extra electronics provisions required. The door is available in all types (incl. sound-insulating and fire-resistant). This door is also available with a drill-through safeguard for extra burglar resistance.

The burglar-resistant door has been tested by SKG as follows:

  • Burglar-resistant in accordance with resistance class II and resistance class III (EN 1627 / NEN 5096)
  • Anti-panic (EN 179 / EN 1125)

  • Available in combination with:

    Sound insulation to Rw = 56 dB (EN-ISO 140-3)
